Update and Eye makeup removers

First post of 2011! I hope every had a great holiday whether it was celebrated with endless parties or just quiet nights in keeping snug and warm :)

I think I will be doing a slight new change to how I write posts now. So instead of writing upcoming posts that I possibly won't write at the end, instead I will just leave that out and just write as I go. And I mostly don't end up writing them because they simply didn't make much of an impression or it was just an average product xD
On to eye makeup removers!...

So I've tried a few eye makeup removers so far:
-Estée Lauder
-Boots Botanics
-Shills
-Clinique
-Boots No7
-Lanc
ôme

And my favourite one so far is Estée Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
£17, 100ml

I like this one because it effectively dissolves the make up almost straight away, so it doesn't smudge around your eyes. And it even removes waterproof mascara! It doesn't have any separate oil in it so you don't need to shake it up every time and it isn't too oily on the lids either. So now the Estée Lauder one is my staple eye makeup remover and will keep repurchasing it until I stumble upon a better one!
The least effective on the list as the Boots No7 one as it just smudged the make up around my eyes... I had panda eyes after every time I used it.

So now that I've found my all time favourite eye makeup remover, I'd recommend this one for people with oily/combination skin that loves to wear eye makeup and it's totally worth your £'s

Keep Warm With Lace?

If like in the UK you have been surrounded by a blanket of snow and ice recently,
you may have been piling on the woollen layers and ended up looking a bit like a marshmallow. Or you may just be braving the cold snap and dash out with a new lace dress you bought for a party, and then crawl back into the warmth of your own heater with a cold.

However have you ever considered using lace to your advantage? Surprisingly lace can actually keep you a bit warmer than wearing a few extra of the same layers, because you can trap small pockets of air against your skin which will stop your body heat from escaping so quickly.
Perfect combination examples include a lace shirt peeking out under a snug jumper or wearing a lace pair of leggings under a pair of high-shine ones (don't say you haven't tried wearing two pairs of tights!)

Anyway, keep warm this winter readers!
And I wish good health to you all this Christmas!
Happy Holidays~

Casual Oufit Today: Winter fur

It was freezing today!
I wasn't dressed for shopping though so I picked up a furry gilet on the way back home, and took some quick snaps of my outfit~
Excuse the blurry first pic, I loathe using flash.... >.<

Close up of my new furry friend...

I did wear this with my black Ugg inspired boots so it matched a black bag that I was using, and I just find it less effort to walk in compared to heels~

How do you keep warm on the chilly days??

[Video] What's On My Nails - Nov Tutorial

My current love! Barry M Instant Effects Nail Polish! It's perfect to fix a dodgy nail paint job, or a traumatic smudge. Super quick drying, easy to use and you can just wack it over in anyway way, and it'll sort itself out.
I've been getting loads of compliments and questions such as 'OMG are they real?' 'Did you do them yourself?' 'How did you do that??' Well here it is, Enjoy~
