Update and skincare

EDIT: Okay I found that E45 is actually quite thick, so if you can still feel it on your face after a few mins of application then it maybe too thick for your skin to absorb. So you might want to avoid it~

H
i, sorry there hasn't been an update in a while~ Everyone's busy prepping for university :)

So recently I have been using E45 Moisturising Lotion instead of my usual Soap and Glory Clear here oil control lotion. This is because I have decided to challenge the theory
'Some people have oily skin because it's the skins way of compensating for the lack of moisture'

I have combination skin where my t-zone is oily but my cheeks are normal, and I've found that when using creams and gels for oily skin twice a day on my face they don't do anything. After switching to E45 my skin hasn't been so oily and I only get a shiny t-zone at the end of the day, rather than an unbearable amount of oil production that I have to keep blotting. So creams for oily skin have only been making my skin worse by not moisturising it at all
. I think I will try to find a face cream that will give my skin enough moisture so that I don't get an oily t-zone anymore, but if you have oily skin too you should try switching up your face cream to a gentle moisturising one and see if there's a difference.

Why did I choose E45?
I wanted a very basic moisturiser that would be light and absorbed easily without all the chemicals that you might find in other popular brands. It's a good start anyway~

What it says on the label:
'E45 Lotion id light, unperfumed and can be used all over your body, face and hands to care for dry and sensitive skin. Use it everyday to help keep your skin soft, supple and moisturised and to prevent it from becoming dry.
The gently, hypoallergenic formulation is easily absorbed and can be used on even sensitive skin.
E45 Lotion is suitable for the whole family, including babies.
