Hi, sorry there hasn't been an update in a while~ Everyone's busy prepping for university :)
So recently I have been using E45 Moisturising Lotion instead of my usual Soap and Glory Clear here oil control lotion. This is because I have decided to challenge the theory
'Some people have oily skin because it's the skins way of compensating for the lack of moisture'
I have combination skin where my t-zone is oily but my cheeks are normal, and I've found that when using creams and gels for oily skin twice a day on my face they don't do anything. After switching to E45 my skin hasn't been so oily and I only get a shiny t-zone at the end of the day, rather than an unbearable amount of oil production that I have to keep blotting. So creams for oily skin have only been making my skin worse by not moisturising it at all. I think I will try to find a face cream that will give my skin enough moisture so that I don't get an oily t-zone anymore, but if you have oily skin too you should try switching up your face cream to a gentle moisturising one and see if there's a difference.
Why did I choose E45?
I wanted a very basic moisturiser that would be light and absorbed easily without all the chemicals that you might find in other popular brands. It's a good start anyway~
